Will Killzone VR be a PSVR 2 launch title? We shall wait and see. The game was then moved in-house by Sony, although we do not know which team picked it up. It is suggested that for some reason Sony pulled the game from Supermassive, possibly due to the negative reviews that were heaped upon VR shooter Bravo Team. It is reported that the game was in development with Supermassive Games, the team behind PSVR titles Until Dawn: Rush of Blood, Tumble, Bravo Team and The Inpatient. Paul has accurately leaked and number of PSVR games before but this is the first time anyone has mentioned a VR version of Killzone.
Most recently, Bryan Paul from YouTube channel PSVR Without Parole has suggested that a VR game based on the Killzone franchise was being developed by Sony. Wasn’t really viable as a smooth experience until the 5 gave the extra power. It improved slightly with the pro but was still unstable. It existing on the original ps4, but it was so underpowered that it ran like crap. Finally we have RIGS: Mechanized Combat League but let’s pretend that didn’t happen, because it didn’t, it launched and died within a couple of weeks.Īnyway, back to Killzone which has been missing from PlayStation for a good few years. It’s an unlocked frame rate option with a 60 FPS cap.
